Franklin Offshore is qualified to repair and refurbish existing damaged machined surfaces or provide parts with a high quality clad surface by overlay- welding and machining. Existing cable sheaves for example, are often brought to our workshop for a new, clad welded shaft surface to bring bearing dimensions back within the original tolerations to ensure a new correct bearing fitting.
Yearly inspections, the overhaul of hoisting equipment like lifting-blocks, crane hooks, spreaders or cable sheaves are services we can offer with our operation and fabrication department. Each case will be handled as a project and all steps will be well registered & documented.
